I always look forward to your new posts. You should be so proud of the progress you have made and continue to make. Your videos and posts are proof positive themselves. Also, the fantastic encouraging relatives who have stood up for you and are by you along your journey. They all love you beyond comprehension. There are many in your situation who would give anything to have what you are blessed to have.
Unfortunately, you along with numerous others who suffer from mental illness have no idea the impact in which it has on a persons lifelong battle they struggle with. Whereas, if you had a leg or arm absent it becomes a visual in which society would empathize with you or for you.
The quote below is phenomenal:
Mental health stigma quote: “You are not your illness. You have an individual story to tell. You have a name, a history, a personality. Staying yourself is part of the battle.”
I am incredible proud of you! You have beaten the odds and realize you needed help. You reached out of your comfort zone and became aware this battle could not be won by yourself. The treatment program you are in must be extraordinary by the help they provide not only for you but by a multiple of others.
It is Thanksgiving tomorrow, I myself give thanks for you and and my family. Here are some other quotes to look at when in doubt:
“We all make mistakes, have struggles, and even regret things in our past. But you are not your mistakes, you are not your struggles, and you are here NOW with the power to shape your day and your future.”
